What Is the Mistletoes Shoe Drive?

Mistletoes is a community-driven initiative dedicated to providing new shoes to children and families in need right here in our local area.

What started as a simple act of giving has grown into a powerful movement — helping ensure that every child has something many of us take for granted: a comfortable, properly fitting pair of shoes.

For many families, especially during the holiday season and challenging times, essentials like footwear can be a financial burden. Mistletoes steps in to bridge that gap.

Our Mission

To support local children by providing:

  • New, properly fitting shoes
  • Confidence and dignity in the classroom and everyday life
  • Relief for families facing financial hardship

Because something as small as a pair of shoes can make a life-changing difference.

Community Impact

Through donations, fundraisers, and events like Primo’s Party with a Purpose, Mistletoes has been able to:

  • Put shoes on the feet of children across the Fall River community
  • Partner with local businesses and organizations
  • Turn nights out and celebrations into meaningful opportunities to give back

How Primo Supports

At Primo on Water Street, giving back is part of who we are.

Through our Party with a Purpose events, we:

  • Raise funds through raffles and ticketed experiences
  • Create awareness for local causes
  • Bring the community together for something bigger than just a night out

Primo’s Party with a Purpose

Primo’s Party with a Purpose is how we turn celebration into community impact. During select ticketed events, big holiday weekends, and nights featuring live music and popular local bands, we raise money for Mistletoes and give back in ways that go beyond shoes alone.

Through these events, a portion of proceeds can support Mistletoes, while our 50/50 raffles create an additional opportunity for guests to be part of something meaningful. It is our way of bringing people together for a fun night out while supporting families in our community at the same time.

Featured Example: Felix Brown St. Paddy’s Day Event

Our most recent Felix Brown St. Paddy’s Day event served as the pilot event for Primo’s Party with a Purpose, and it was successful.

Kelly Aguiar and Nicole Moniz each won $250 through the 50/50 raffle. Nicole generously chose to donate her full winnings back to Mistletoes, helping further support local children and families.

Moments like this are what this initiative is all about—bringing people together, giving back, and turning a great night at Primo into real community impact.
